What is parent coaching?

Parent coaching is a nonjudgmental partnership between a parent and a parent coach, focused on creating customized parenting plans. Together, they develop strategies aimed at enhancing parenting skills development while aligning with each family's hopes and values.

Your parent coach will develop customized parenting plans that incorporate the interplay of parenting skills development and children's developmental needs. This plan is implemented by the parent with support and advice from the coach during the process.

Typically, the parent and parent coach meet for a 50-minute video or phone call to discuss the customized parenting plans that address their needs and wishes. After this initial consultation, the parent implements the tips and advice provided during the session, followed by 5 follow-up sessions to monitor progress, celebrate wins, and refine their parenting skills development.
